Family trip to the Tretyakov!

A unique "Family Weekend at the New Tretyakov" museum route was developed at the gallery. It is available to visitors until December 31, 2025. The creators of the program are certain that a trip to the museum is not only an important component of upbringing and education of the younger generation, but also a great way to spend quality time with your family.

Unique family guides to the halls of XX century art in the Tretyakov Gallery currently consist of 3 routes:

"7 avant-garde masterpieces";
"7 masterpieces about Moscow";
"7 masterpieces about happiness".

The guide for each route is a set of postcards with reproductions of XX century works of art exhibited in the halls of the New Tretyakov. On the flipside of the postcard you can find information about the work, the number of the hall where it is located and a task for children (age range of 5−7, 8−10 and 11+).

While searching for answers to the questions from the postcard, all participants of the family journey around the New Tretyakov will be able to get to know the paintings better, gain new knowledge and scrutinize the details of the artists' works. Besides, each card of the guide has a qr-code, which can be used to access the educational portal of the Tretyakov Gallery and learn even more new and interesting things about the world of art.

Specialized postcards for the family museum route can be obtained at the New Tretyakov administration desk upon presentation of tickets for the "Art of the XX Century" exhibition in the following categories:

Two adults and one kid of 7−17 years old inclusive;
Two adults and two kids of 7−17 years old inclusive;
Kids of 7−17 years old inclusive (Russian Federation and other EAEU countries);
Holders of the "Family Card" of the "Friends of the Tretyakov Gallery" program.
