Diana creates intricately detailed works that blend ethnographic precision with emotional depth
Diana Slipetskaya is a young artist and illustrator for whom art has become not just a profession, but a way of comprehending the world. Born with a visual impairment, she learned from an early age to see differently — through inner imagery, sensations, and dreams. Drawing became her anchor at age four, and by seventeen she had graduated from three art schools.

Diana creates intricately detailed works that blend ethnographic precision with emotional depth. Her art explores nature, ballet, and the cultural heritage of Amur Indigenous peoples. Her illustrations for Chinese fairy tales, along with series like Seagulls, Souls, and Lights, radiate poetic luminosity.

Diana Slipetskaya embodies perseverance and devotion to art. Her works are held in museums across Russia and China, as well as private collections. For her, creativity is both a path of resilience and a means to reveal beauty where others might pass by unnoticed — a language for articulating what matters most.
