From early childhood, drawing became for Natalya more than a pastime: but into a natural mode of constructing an imaginary world, where through the creation of characters and narrative lines her own artistic way of thinking gradually formed. She was born and grew up in Kazakhstan, and according to her, this country contributed to the development of inner freedom and creative independence, which remain an important foundation of her artistic practice.
Turning to animation, she perceived it as the most open field for experimentation, allowing her to freely work with styles, materials, and visual systems.
